What is it?
BE SUMMER is an Intensive Dance Programme aimed at young dancers between the ages of 14 and 18. It proposes a week of technical and artistic work with choreographers of recognized national and international merit.
The new edition of BE SUMMER will take place in Torres Vedras, between the 18th and 23rd June 2022.
For Whom?
Young people between the ages of 14 and 18 who have some basic knowledge of dance and want to improve it with dance professionals. It is especially aimed at dancers from Vocational Schools, Conservatories and other Dance Specialised Teaching establishments.
Purpose
BE SUMMER aims to facilitate the contact of young dancers with choreographers of national and international renown and the inherent learning and improvement of new techniques, methods and languages of dance.
BE SUMMER seeks to act in a logic of enrichment of the school career, promoting artistic exchange and the exchange of experiences between participants.

USEFUL INFORMATION
Clothing suitable for the practice of dance and sufficient for the duration of the event
Monday 18th July
- ballet pointe shoes (those who do not do pointe shoes may still take the class)
- a fan
- pilates ball (65cm), fusion ball (20-23cm), elasticated band (medium strength).
Saturday, 23rd July
towel, water bottle, tennis ball and skipping rope.
Those who are unable to bring any of these materials, please inform us.
Check-In: Monday 18 July, between 9am and 9.30am.

HOUSING
Performact has a few rooms, belonging to the venue where BE SUMMER will take place, along with an equipped kitchen and several bathrooms with shower. The number of rooms is limited.

There are also several hotels in the vicinity of Performact.
MEALS
The organisation will provide a kitchen equipped with a fridge and microwave. All meals are the responsibility of each participant.
There are cafes, restaurants and bakeries close to the Performact studios.

Attach the following documents to the email:

Copy of the participant's Identification Document

Proof of payment
Payment is made at the time of registration by bank transfer to IBAN:
PT50 5340 5341 02092800001 87 (ILU Association).
The proof of payment must be sent to the email besummerpt@gmail.com, together with the Registration Form, Term of Responsibility and a copy of the participant's Identification Document. After sending these documents, registration is considered valid. Once the registration is confirmed, there is no refund.
