Lachky-Puzzle work CREATION LAB
Endless Body game
PUZZLE WORK: opens the door to an endless variety of different Combinations inside of your movement possibilities.
And so by playing organizing and reorganizing your body in a simple and complex way in many different ways, it allows you to keep playing all the time while dancing. (HOW COLOURFUL YOUR DANCING CAN BE?)
Body functions the way we wish or rather allow it to function.
This game of Puzzle Work is a never-ending process never-ending game if we wish or allow it to be. Each body has its BALANCE, LOGIC and its LIMITATIONS. I feel lucky today to be discovering where my balance is and where my limitations are and how can I transform that and integrate that in my dancing.
Anton Lachky-Puzzle Work
If I take 6 different numbers compared to the lock of the bike.combination of those are endless in different orders and that's how we keep our bike safe.
DANCING IS NOT THE NUMBER and WE ARE NOT THE BIKE LOCK.
Meaning with 6different movements body game can be endless depending on which movement comes in which order.
Another thing is how large the scale of our movement is? That's where ENDLESSNESS steps in. how many numbers of possibilities we have?
As I mentioned before we are not a bike lock and movements are not the numbers so...
in which size
With what intention
In which context
and most importantly with what FEELING, do I move.)
DO WE ALL HAVE ACCESS TO THE SPEED?
Yes, we do.
Who is Puzzle Work for? Any dancer and mover of any category who loves to move and wants to discover his physical possibilities, discover his abilities and his own coordination skills.
A dancer who likes to be challenged and who is willing to learn more.
Is it only for contemporary dancers?
Absolutely not. It's for any dancers who love the physicality and challenge(urban dance, ballet, circus, acrobats, gymnasts, and any other movement lovers).
During the creation lab week, Anton will work towards and create, together with the participants, short solos, duets and small group work based on his puzzle work method. These pieces will then be presented on the last Saturday.
